Burton’s Farm Cottage self-catering cottage offers a rustic, quaint retreat perfect for 2 to 6 guests seeking a peaceful escape.
Brimming with character, this charming hideaway features a cozy living area and a small kitchen equipped with all the essentials for a weekend getaway. The sleeping arrangements are delightfully unique: two beds are tucked into a converted animal shelter just outside, affectionately dubbed the “Hobbit House” for its whimsical, low-ceilinged allure.
Inside the cottage are 2 additional single beds as well as a double bed, ensuring everyone has a spot to rest, while the single en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet, keeps things simple yet functional. If you feel like bathing with a difference, our outside bath provides a privately enclosed space for relaxing and soaking in the fresh country air while stargazing at night.
Just outside is an undercover paved braai area fitted with a picnic table, benches and additional patio chairs. Outside you will also find our reservoir containing fresh spring water straight from our mountain, suitable for swimming in and cooling off in those scorching hot summer months.
